Beginner Water Dog Workshop

This beginner seminar is designed to help dogs and handlers build confidence, learn the basics, and discover the teamwork that makes water training so rewarding.

To help create a safe and positive experience for everyone, please plan to arrive prepared:

Dogs must remain on leash and under control when they are not actively working.

Handlers should bring water shoes and a life jacket for their own safety while assisting in the water.

Please bring a crate or another safe way to contain your dog while it is not their turn. This allows you to stay engaged, watch, and help support other teams.

Bring a floating toy that your dog enjoys and will be motivated to retrieve in the water.

Whether your Newf is a confident swimmer or just beginning to explore the water, this is a great opportunity to learn, encourage one another, and have fun building the foundation for future water adventures. We look forward to seeing you and your four-legged teammate at the water’s edge!
