Newfies love agility! A fast, fun sport with tunnels, jumps, and other obstacles. The dog and handler must negotiate all the course obstacles in the proper order. There is a time limit so speed is essential. At each event, the order of the obstacles and the course are unique. The handler walks through the course alone beforehand. Then each dog and handler team runs the course with the clock running. Judge and stewards watch the run, noting any faults such as knocking over a jump. Consider giving agility a try with your Newf.
