The Newfoundland Club of Seattle (NCS) is a recognized regional club of the Newfoundland Club of America (NCA), dedicated to the preservation and welfare of the Newfoundland breed. In this spirit we promote a wealth of Newf activities including conformation, obedience, and working events. The NCS appeals to families and individuals who enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow Newfie enthusiasts.

The Newfoundland Club of Seattle is a non-profit corporation, founded in 1974 with a dozen members. NCS now has approximately eighty family, individual, and associate memberships internationally.

NCS provides its members with plenty of activities throughout the year to keep even the most enthusiastic of Newfies and their owners busy. The NCS hosts its own events as well as sponsors entries at dog shows and obedience trials. Members are encouraged to participate and help with organizing these activities.

The NCS holds quarterly General Membership meetings. Attendance is encouraged, but not required. The 5 member board meets on a regular basis, and all members are welcome to attend board meetings.

NCS Membership

An Individual Membership is one adult, with full voting rights. Two NCS functions must be attended prior to applying for membership. Individual membership dues are $30.00 per year.

A Family Membership is for a household of at least two people. The entire family enjoys NCS membership, but is limited to 2 adult votes. Two NCS functions must be attended prior to applying for membership. Family membership dues are $40.00 per year.

Associate Membership is for an individual or family, with no voting rights. One NCS function must be attended prior to applying for membership. The associate member receives newsletters and flyers announcing future events. Associate membership dues are $25.00 per year.

A one year subscription to the Bigfoot Bulletin is $20.00. Non-members are welcome to subscribe in order to keep up with club news and events. Newsletter subscription is included with every membership.
