NCS provides its members with numerous activities to keep even the most enthusiastic of Newfies and their owners busy. The club hosts social events like our annual Greenlake Walk, and sponsors entries at dog events like the Mount Rainier Working Dog Club shows. We also hold fundraisers like our annual Christmas Tree Pull. Members are encouraged to participate and help with organizing these activities. Membership Options:
Full – one adult and full voting rights $30.00 per year.
Family – entire family enjoys membership, but is limited to 2 votes $40.00 per year.
Associate family – entire family receives newsletters and event notices, no voting $30 per year
Associate – receives newsletters and event notices, no voting $25.00 per year.
Renew – for current members only, $30 per year.

NEW MEMBERS
Attend two events:
Before you can become a member you must attend two club events. Check the event calendar to find out when our events are scheduled. Select any of them. You will be welcome at our events. They are good opportunities to see newfs in action and get to know other newf people. Introduce yourself, ask questions, tell people you plan to become a member.
Find two sponsors:
Two current NCS members need to sponsor your membership. You may already know people in the club who will be happy to sponsor you. If not, meeting people at events is a good way to find sponsors. The sponsors need to sign your application form, so it may be helpful if you download a form to take with you to events. You can get signatures at events and it will save you time later.
Complete your application:
Download and complete our Membership Application. Don’t forget your sponsor signatures. Select the membership option you prefer:

Submit your application:

You can also hand deliver your application to the membership chair, or other board member at an event.
Wait for your membership to be finalized:
Before your membership is finalized, you will be introduced in the next Bigfoot newsletter as a potential member. If no current member objects, you will officially become a member.
CURRENT MEMBERS
Annual renewal:
Membership must be renewed yearly. Membership renewals start at the annual Christmas party in December and due by March 31st .

The NCS offers discounted dues for people who have chaired, served as committee members, or volunteered at events during the previous year.
